Snežana Nikčević

Snežana Nikčevićis an advocate in the field of civic tech and a creative producer, currently engaged in leading the civic engagement segment in the digital transformation program at NGO 35mm. She is an Ambassador of the Ethical AI Alliance for the Western Balkans and a member of the Policy Group at the Centre for AI and Digital Policy, where she previously was a researcher and team leader within the AI Policy Clinic program.

She is actively involved in the fields of digital rights, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, media and digital literacy, as well as public policies in the field of digitalization. In the past period, she coordinated and participated in numerous national and regional projects related to the Digital Agenda, regulation of digital services, online content, cyber violence, and the use of technology for social change. Through trainings, she has worked with more than 200 civil society organizations, media, ministries, and municipalities, and has educated over 2,000 young people about digital literacy and online safety.

She is educated in the field of media studies and journalism at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Montenegro. As a producer and creative worker, she has participated in the production of feature and short films, as well as more than 100 audiovisual projects for domestic and international productions.
