Youth Participatory Academy is a program of Mreža mladih Crne Gore designed for young people who want to understand how public policies work, how decisions are made, and how they can influence changes in their community.

The Academy combines theoretical knowledge and practical work. Through interactive workshops, simulations, group tasks, and work on concrete ideas, participants develop the knowledge and skills needed for active citizenship, public advocacy, communication, problem analysis, and creating initiatives for youth.

This program brings together young people from different backgrounds and sectors — civil society organizations, student organizations, political youth wings, media, and local communities. In this way, the Academy builds a network of young people ready to recognize problems, propose solutions, and initiate positive changes.

What the program includes

Participants gain knowledge in the following areas through the Academy:

  • youth policies;
  • active citizenship;
  • public advocacy;
  • youth participation in decision-making;
  • communication and public speaking;
  • development of initiatives and action plans;
  • democratic culture and dialogue;
  • cooperation with institutions and the community.

Program goal

The goal of the Youth Participatory Academy is to empower young people to be active, informed, and responsible participants in social life.

Through the Academy, young people not only gain knowledge but also a space to turn their ideas into concrete proposals, initiatives, and actions.

The Academy empowers young people to move from idea to action.
