EU Youth Dialogue

EU Youth Dialogue is a program of Mreža mladih Crne Gore aimed at making young people active participants in the European integration process, not just users of the policies adopted in that process.

As Montenegro approaches membership in the European Union, it is important that young people have space to express their needs, views, and expectations. The EU Youth Dialogue creates exactly such a space — through consultations, public discussions, workshops, and meetings with institutions.

This program connects young people from different communities with representatives of institutions, civil society, and international partners. Through a structured process, young people identify priorities, formulate recommendations, and contribute to making European integration closer, more understandable, and more useful for their generation.

What the program includes

The EU Youth Dialogue can include:

• consultations with young people in schools, universities, and communities;
• workshops on European integration and youth policies;
• public discussions with institutions;
• thematic cycles on issues important to young people;
• formulating youth recommendations;
• advocating for youth recommendations to be part of public policies;
• promotion of European values, rights, and opportunities for young people.

Program goal

The goal of the program is to systematically include the voice of young people in the processes of European integration and public policy creation.

The EU Youth Dialogue contributes to young people being recognized as partners of institutions, having their views heard, and their recommendations gaining space in processes shaping the future of Montenegro.

The EU Youth Dialogue connects Montenegro's European future with the voice of the generation that will live in that future.
