The Secretary General of Mreža za mlade Crne Gore and co-chair of the Executive Board of the initiative "Podgorica – European Youth Capital 2028", Vladimir Perazić, appeared on the show "Good Morning Podgorica", where he spoke about the preparations so far and planned activities within this significant European title.
Perazić emphasized that the Work Program for 2026 has been adopted, based on four key areas: youth participation, innovation and creativity, the common good, and the green agenda. These areas will form the basis for the development of programs and activities aimed at youth.
Activities will be carried out during 2026, 2027, and 2028, when Podgorica will officially hold the title of European Youth Capital. It was particularly emphasized that the programs will not be intended only for youth from Podgorica, but for youth from all over Montenegro.
The team working on preparations is intensively developing a strategy so that the Capital City is ready to welcome 2028.
The title of European Youth Capital represents an important opportunity to improve the position of youth, develop new programs, and strengthen their participation in social life and decision-making processes, both in Podgorica and throughout Montenegro.
