European Youth Forum visiting Mreža za mlade Crne Gore

Mreža za mlade Crne Gore (MMCG) hosted representatives of the European Youth Forum from September 23 to 25, 2026, as part of the process of reviewing MMCG's application for membership in this European youth platform.

During the three-day visit, representatives of the European Youth Forum had the opportunity to learn about the functioning of the Network, its organizational structure and the work of the governing bodies, as well as cooperation with member organizations and partners in improving the position of youth in Montenegro.

Meetings with the Board of Directors, MMCG Secretariat, and Network partners — Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), OSCE Mission in Montenegro, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro — were held on September 24. The discussions were dedicated to the work and activities of MMCG, decision-making processes, and cooperation with organizations and institutions.

As part of the visit, a joint meeting was also organized with the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro. On that occasion, the cooperation between the Parliament of Montenegro and MMCG was presented, with a review of previous activities aimed at improving youth participation in decision-making processes.

On September 25, ahead of the Sixth regular session of the MMCG Assembly, representatives of the European Youth Forum met with representatives of member organizations. After the meeting, they attended the Assembly session, thus gaining direct insight into the work of the Network's highest decision-making body and the participation of members in its work.

The visit enabled the presentation of MMCG's work and the exchange of information important for reviewing the application for membership in the European Youth Forum.

Mreža za mlade Crne Gore thanks the representatives of the European Youth Forum for the visit and open discussion, as well as all member organizations and partners who contributed to presenting the work and activities of the Network.
